Rocking R Bar

On March 5th, 2009, a gas explosion rocked Bozeman and destroyed a whole city block, including the Rocking R Bar. The sign was damaged, but survived the explosion. At Signs of Montana, we hand painted the sign, installed brand new neon, and re-hung the sign above the Rocking R Bar to bring this iconic downtown Bozeman sign back to life.

BZN Airport Sign Installation
June 7, 2017
We designed, fabricated, and installed the sign for the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. This monument sign has acrylic push-through and channel letters. There are LED lights in the letters and mountains. LEDs get brighter as temperatures drop, whereas neon gets dimmer, so it's perfect for Montana weather. The logs, from a local lumber company, and the rocks in the base, match the interior of the airport.
